Iridium Latin America SIM Plan

The Iridium Latin America Plan provides discounted airtime rates for customers using Iridium satellite phones in South and Central America, including Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Venezuela and other countries and territories (see the full list below).

Includes:

• Iridium Prepaid SIM-card
• Prepaid voucher: LA-200 or LA-500
• Value-added services (messaging, data, voicemail)

Geographic restrictions. Iridium Latin America plan subscribers can use their plan ONLY from land of countries and territories in South and Central America, EXCLUDING the Caribbean region, including 12 nautical miles into coastal waters. It WILL NOT work for either outbound or inbound calls anywhere else.

List of in-coverage countries:

• The account can be refilled only with Latin America prepaid vouchers as often and as many times as needed with all unused minutes to be rolled over. The validity time will be combined, the maximum validity time of available minutes cannot exceed 2 years.
• All unused minutes will be rolled over to the new voucher, provided the new voucher is loaded before expiration date of the previous one.
• Calls to rare destinations such as other satellite systems, premium numbers, etc. are more expensive and will result in quicker depletion of included minutes.
• Billing increment: 20 seconds
• Do not purchase a new plan if you want to add more minutes to your existing unexpired Iridium Northern Lights account with SATTRANS. Get a new Iridium airtime voucher instead.
• Purchase and use of Iridium prepaid SIM-cards, airtime vouchers and services are subject to SATTRANS Prepaid Account & Voucher Rules.
